We believe in the common doctrines of God, Jesus, Sin etc... and those are stated in our articles of faith. Below is a list of five distinctive biblical beliefs that set us apart and is generally why we are called Baptist.

.The Bible - is the authoritative Word of God-inspired, infallible and preserved by God. The Authorized King James Version is the final authority for faith and practice.

.We believe that Salvation is by grace, through faith. That it is freely given to whosoever will believe and receive the Gospel message of how that Jesus Christ died, was buried, rose from the grave and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. That he paid the price on the cross for the forgiveness of all our sins and redemption through his shed blood. That once saved a believer becomes a child of God and that person cannot loose their salvation. A saved person is born again and cannot become un-born.

.We believe Jesus Christ the Son of God is the head of his Church. That the record of Jesus starting the Church is found in Matthew 16:13-18 where Jesus ask Peter, "Whom say ye that I am?" and Peter answered, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus proclaims, "..upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." That its members where the original apostles and the Lord added to the church such as should be saved. The history and doctrine of the Church is recorded in the books of the New Testament. The Church had members then and therefore each child of God should be a member of a local New Testament Church. (Heb 10:25). The Church is Local not universal, each Local Church is to be self-governing according to the Biblical example. Each Local Church is to be the antonymous self governing body of Christ made up of saved, baptized members. The Church is the bride of Christ and will be one universal body when the Lord returns to redeem His purchased possession prior to what is known as the tribulation period.

.We believe that Biblical Baptism is by full immersion of a newly born again believer in water. It is an ordinance not only given to the church, but a command to the Local Church, therefore the Local New Testament Church is the only one that has the authority to administer this ordinance. It is an ordinance not a sacrament and has no saving or keeping power. The only prerequisite is to understand the need for salvation and to receive that salvation through belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is to be done in obedience of and following Christs' example and identifying with him. It is an open profession of faith and a type or picture of what has already taken place within the new believer. It is generally but not always administered by the Pastor of the Local Church and both the Pastor and the new believer enters into the water then the Pastor immerses the believer in the name of the God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Once that new believer is baptized in that Local Church he is then a member of that Local Church.

.We believe in the Lord Supper that it, just like baptism, is an ordinance given to the Local New Testament Church. Therefore it is only the Local New Testament Church that has been given the authority to administer this ordinance to its members. It is sometimes referred to as communion, it is not a sacrament and has no saving power. Jesus said as often as we do this to do it in remembrance of Him. It is a memorial ordinance. It is to remind us of his shed blood, his broken body, and his return. The bread and the juice are symbolic and do not in some mysterious way become Christ body and blood. The only prerequisite is: Salvation, Baptism, (thus membership), and self-examination. We believe that since the Bible is clear concerning a Child of God being a member of a Local New Testament Church and for the sake of unity in each Local Church, you must be a member of the Church in the location where you desire to observe the Lords Supper. We believe in Closed Communion.
